Preheat oven to 375 degree F. In a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, allspice, and orange rind. With a pastry blender cut in the shortening until mixture resembles a coarse meal. In a small bowl beat eggs, sour cream, and milk together until smooth. Add to the flour mixture and blend until the flour is just moist. Do not overmix. Fold in Rosella.
Grease 16 muffin tins well with butter. Dust well with flour. Fill the tins 2/3 full. Bake muffins in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes. Cool for about 5 minutes and serve.
