What you’ll need:


  1. Toast quinoa in a dry skillet over medium heat, constantly stirring for about three minutes. 
  2.  Put quinoa in a medium pot and water or broth. 
  3. Bring to a boil, then let it simmer till all the water or broth is absorbed and the quinoa is tender (10-20 minutes).
  4. Set aside and leave uncovered to cool. 
  5. In a large bowl, combine quinoa, olive oil or cooking oil, sesame oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, and fresh ground ginger. Stir well. 
  6. Season with salt and pepper. 
*Greens beans used in this recipe were grown in the farm to school teaching garden.
