What you’ll need:
Preheat the Oven to 350 degree F. Pour the milk into top of the double boiler, slowly add the corn meal, stirring continuously. Add salt, molasses, ginger, and nutmeg stirring often for about 25 minutes.
Butter well a 2 quart baking dish. Pour the corn mixture into the dish, and bake in preheat oven for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
