Our agricultural system has traditionally relied on imported labor and an extractive production system that treats workers, land, and animals as expendable resources.
Food justice addresses some of the inequities food workers face from our current food production system. Food sovereignty offers a solution to redress those inequities by turning into a culturally appropriate, community-centered food production system.
